Ошибка при обновлении 16.04LTS помогите решить проблему

sudo apt upgrade

в конце выдаёт:

При обработке следующих пакетов произошли ошибки:
 util-linux
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)
И никак не могу обновиться. Уже пробовал чинить пакеты и все такое. Ничего не помогает. Как быть?

SergGT, покажите начало вывода, на какой инит-скрипт ругань?
Не надо тут ничего чинить.

PS: Действительно недавно ставил дрова на МФУшку и после этого началась проблема с апдейтом.
