сборка ubuntu 16.04.1 LTS не работает графическая система (нет hdmi сигнала)

помогите хотя бы в какую сторону копать, сам с линуксом знаком всего неделю, на плату поставил сборку, в которой похоже и гном есть, и графические драйвера, подключаю кабель HDMI но система при загрузке пишет ошибки:

кабель проверял, а вот переходник на микро-hdmi использую первый раз... возможно конечно китайцы прислали брак, но у меня больше сомнения по поводу качества сборки системы, другой под рукой нет, а пересобирать самому пока не научился, т.к. с виндой всю жизнь имел дело, сборка отсюда: http://elinux.org/BeagleBoardUbuntu#OMAP5432_uEVM

Nick8266, сборка она и есть сборка: что там напутали, что HDMI не работает - не понятно, как это чинить - тоже. Ставьте официальный релиз с https://www.ubuntu.com/download/desktop или с https://ubuntu.ru/get
