Не хочет работать сканер Mustek 1200 ub
Ubuntu 10.04

в man sane-mustek_usb написано, что ,если сканер не определяется, то необходимо настроить /usr/local/etc/sane.d/mustek_usb.conf
я сделал так;

#option 600cuтакже попробовал изменить /etc/sane.d/mustek_usb.conf ничего не изменилось.. (убунтой пользуюсь недавно поэтому в чём разница между этими директориями не знаю)

p.s. устанавливал sane-backends-1.0.21..без каких-либо настроек

По этой теме есть пару тем здесь, правда BärPaw 1200 CU plus есть по BärPaw 1200 CU задайте в поиске, а также на оффициальном сайте есть кое что в техподдержке, драйвера например,

собственно надо было внимательней читать...при повторной установке sane заметил что там был warning и говорилось о том что необходимы пакеты libusb-dev
поэтому ...
sudo apt-get install libusb-dev
./configure
make
make check
make install

всё работает.
p.s. не забываем про /usr/local/etc/sane.d/mustek_usb.conf, как описано в первом посте
