хорошо. я может туплю... меня смущает вот какой момент. если я делаю по инструкции из ссылки, то там указан сервер 192.168.1.200. мне тогда какой адрес указывать? сетевой карты, которая в сеть смотрит? или которая в интернет?

Вначале сам себе ответь на вопрос: Проксировать трафик ты будешь из интернета или локальной сети??

Попробуй запустить так service squid3 start

Здравствуйте, возникла нужда в прокси-сервере, установил ubuntu 12.04 server, SQUID3, Webmin, настроил.
В итоге клиент открывает одну (ну максимум 2) страницы в браузере, после чего Squid вылетает.

чую, что с кешом проблемы. Попробуйте пересоздать. (sudo squid -z)

все работает, спасибо но возникла следующая проблема: когда пытаюсь выделить группу god без ограничений по скорости и группу users с ограничениями, то ограничения на скорость распространяются на всех пользователей
