Здраствуйте. После того, как я снёс все разделы жестака и поставив Ubuntu 13.10, я решил её немного преукрасить. Скачал CompizConfig Settings Manager, и в нём подстроил всё как я хотел. После этого у меня пошли ненужные проблемы, которые я решился исправить путём сброса значений по умолчанию. Я ожидал увидеть, что система станет такой, какой она была до установки и работы с CCSM. Я, конечно, увидел эту картину, но потом сразу же случилась огромная бяда. Исчезли управление окном (закрыть, свернуть, развернуть), и само окружение рабочего стола. Остались только иконки рабочего стола, и окно, в котором нет элементов управления.
Загуглив, я испробовал команды dconf. Получилось следующее:
Но это не то, что мне хотелось бы видеть (так же нет таскбарных настроек). Тем более после перезагрузки опять нет окружения рабочего стола, и приходится снова вводить 2 команды.
Ранее у меня была такая проблема с unity при ubuntu 13.10, но там было гораздо крупнее - работал я с QT, и решил посмотреть Charmap, и тут сразу же слетело окружение, оставив меня без управления. После перезагрузки тогда у меня была огромная надпись Ubuntu с загрузочными "точками", и после входа в пользователя был просто чёрный экран.
Что посоветуете делать в данной ситуации? Сегодня вроде Ubuntu 14.04 выходит, можно будет попробовать
sudo apt-get upgrade -dНо, вроде, тут сносятся все данные. Пока у меня их не так много, но всё-же они все нужные.

Сейчас попробовал вариант поставить Gnome Shell, и войти с другого пользователя.
1) После того, как я вошёл в окружение Gnome Shell, я отлетел от монитора метра на 4, ибо там было запущено что-то типа экранной лупы. Разрешение экрана видимо было огромнейшее, потому что полностью окружение на экране я не увидел, только его фрагмент. После перезагрузки решился снова войти в Gnome, но тут уже я мог управлять мышкой, соскакивая в разные углы окружения. Это был полный капец.
2) В качестве другого пользователя я выбрал имеющегося уже гостя. Под ним система работает нормально, но отдельно - нет иконок рабочего стола и приложений, установленных через центр. Капец х2

Поставил Cinnamon - не понравился его внешний вид, не очень удобный. На ноутбуке стоит Mint 16, там cinnamon, и он гораздо лучше выглядит и функционирует, чем на пека.

Я догадался войти в CCSM через терминал, и понастраивать там окна. Вроде работает, но не полноценно. То окна летят без панели управления окном, то ещё что-то отвалится. Гемморой какой-то.
