Здравствуйте.Возможно многие сталкивались с проблемой когда после переустановки Windows затирается GRUB.Вот и со мной такое случилось.Шаманил с Live CD Ubuntu 8.04,следуя советам специалистов,но ничего не добился (опыта пока мало).Поэтому я сохранил раздел жёсткого диска с помощью Acronis True Image,затем переустановил Ubuntu,а потом восстановил в тот же раздел сохранённую "старую" Ubuntu.Таким образом у меня вновь появился загрузчик GRUB.Но как только я попытался запустить Ubuntu появилась надпись:
root (hd0,2)/ubuntu/disks
Error 17:Cannot mount selected partitition
Press any key to continue...Прочитал об этой ошибке на linux.dell.com следующее:
1. Reboot the system.
2. At the 3 second countdown before the Ubuntu splash screen press ESC. The grub menu will come up.
3. The first entry will be highlighted. Press e to edit the entry.
4. The root (hd0,0) line will be highlighted. Press e to edit that line.
5. The grub edit> prompt will come up, with root (hd0,0) already entered. Change it to read root (hd0,2) and press Enter. This will take you back to the previous screen.
6. Press b. The system will boot normally.
Всё сделал как сказано.
1.Перезагрузился.
2.Выбрал Ubuntu
3.Снова появилось:
root (hd0,2)/ubuntu/disks
Error 17:Cannot mount selected partitition
Press any key to continue... 4.Жму Enter.Появляется следующее:

Microsoft XP Professional RU 5.На подсвеченной верхней строчке "Ubuntu 8.04,kernel 2.6.24-17-generic" жму "Е" (edit).Появляется:
root (hd0,2)/ubuntu/disks

initrd /boot/initrd.img-2.6.24-17-generic 6.Жму "Е" на строчке "root (hd0,2)/ubuntu/disks" .Появляется:
grub edit>root (hd0,2)/ubuntu/disks 7.Меняю (hd0,2) на (hd0,1) так как Ubuntu у меня установлена на втором разделе первого (и единственного) жёсткого диска.
8.Жму "b" и загружается моя Ubuntu.
Однако,при следующей загрузке мне пришлось снова проделывать эти же манипуляции.И снова,и снова.Обьясните мне,как неопытному новичку,как мне сделать чтобы сразу нормально грузилась Ubuntu.Вот мой menu.lst из папки /boot/grub:
