ssh не отликается после 5-10 мин простоя

Собственно проблема понятна

обычно подключаюсь к какому нибудь серверу в консоли через ssh

$ ssh 127.0.0.1 -l user

делаю что-то, сворачиваю консоль, а когда возращаюсь через минут 5-10 то сервер не откликается на комманды, приходится закрывать вкладку и подключаться по новому
в чем может быть проблема?, сервера разные пробовал, так что наверно проблема у меня?
