Проблема с переключением модема e352b

При подключении модема после загрузки системы подключается только флешка и сидиром, modeswitch не переключает.

При следующих переподключениях соеденение в NM появляется сразу. Также сразу подключался в вверсиях убунты 12.10 и 13.04, а вот с 13.10 только так.
Модем: Huawei E352b (Мегафон) режим: только модем.

У меня в винде ничего никогда "не вылетало". Как бэ должно?

Режим только модем - это когда у железки НЕТ возможности запускаться как сиди-ром и флешка хоть в OS/2 !

Из EFS модема нужно флаги удалять типа AUTORUN.FLG или как там его не помню.

У хуавеев есть такое. Модем свитч как то с ним не так работает. Как мне показалось мегафоновские эттм чаще болеют.

Возможные проблемы и решения
Для надёжной работы также рекомендуется перевести устройство в режим «только модем». Это можно сделать с использованием терминальной программы cutecom, соединившись на порт /dev/ttyUSB0 и послав соответствующую конкретной модели устройства команду.
В случае проблем с установлением связи попробуйте в PPP параметрах подключения отключить компрессию Deflate, BSD или обе сразу.

да написал же уже : Модем: Huawei E352b (Мегафон) режим: только модем. и отключение сжатия тут не причем.

У меня этот же самый модем.
Подключается на ура. Сперва настраиваем через sudo pppconfig

Подключаемся командой pon

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/modemmanager/+bug/1241796 - баг с NM в прогрессе. Но как сами видите, это будет ещё не скоро (если будет).

Решил проблему своими силами после копаний в 13.04.
/lib/udev/rules.d/80-drivers.rules -содержимое этого файла заменить на взятое из того-же файла версии бунты 13.04:
