Проблема USB

29.08.12 обновил более 700 пакетов в Ubuntu 12.04
USB сперва поработает какое то время, а потом перестанет.

Устройства все порты USB

1. проблема с юсб возникла сразу после обновления и перезагрузки или спустя время?
2. насколько я понял из логов, отваливается только вай-фай адаптер и клавиатура, а мышь остается живая.
проблема, скорее всего, аппаратная - валится юсб контроллер, на котором висят вышеуказанные устройства. если бы проблема была в драйвере, то валились бы оба контроллера (мышь отлетела бы тоже), т.к. они одинаковые.
можно, конечно, попробовать откатиться к более раннему ядру, но положительного результата скорее всего это не принесет...

1) До скачивания масштабного обновления проблем не было.
2)В изначальном инсталеке Ubunru 12.04 отсутствовали драйвера на wi-fi поэтому я установил другие (rt5320sda или как то так). И всегда запускал вручную. После обновление запускаются какие то другие драйвера... А  rt5320sda не находит. (может попробовать отрубить драйвер wi-fi и поставить новы?)
USB отваливается не сразу: можно скачать обновление, зайти на форум и почту.
Но рано или поздно usb падает.
Процесс можно ускорить попытавшись прослушать музыку из любого сайта(тогда падает сразу же). Если слушать музыку или смотреть фильм с компа ничего не происходит

получается wifi адаптер валит usb контроллер. попробуйте отключить драйвер и поставить свой. с вашим драйвером раньше проблем не было?

А может, ничего удалять не надо, а всего лишь настроить энергосбережение? Идея в том, что если это ноут, то там так и должно быть, а на стационаркике, при неправильных настройках - тоже! В общем, советую копать в эту сторону!

драйвер rt2800usb
для начала определитесь в драйвере ли дело. для этого выгрузите модуль

sudo insmod ваш_модуль.ko (только нужно сначала его скачать от сюда http://www.ralinktech.com/en/04_support/support.php?sn=501 и скомпилить...)
если все будет ОК, то внесите модуль в blacklist
