Отсутствие звука

Здравствуйте! В общем, проблема такова.
Установил Linux Mint 14, сделанный, как известно, на базе Ubuntu 12.10

Пробовали решить проблему на форуме Минта, без результатно. http://www.mintlinux.ru/forum/thread2768-4.html

Откатился на 13, проблема решилась.
