D-link DWA-126 на 10.04.4. Resource temporarily unavailable

На 10.04.4 server поставил дрова по такой схеме:

sudo apt-get install --reinstall linux-headers-generic build-essential dkms
wget http://linuxwireless.org/download/compat-wireless-2.6/compat-wireless-2.6.tar.bz2       
tar jxvf compat-wireless-2.6.tar.bz2
cd compat-wireless-20*
./scripts/driver-select atheros
make
sudo make install

Устройство появилось в системе:

Как заставить его работать?

Да. Версия 1.3, качал вот отсюда http://linuxwireless.org/download/htc_fw.
Я тоже обратил внимание на эту запись. Похоже система сама пытается его скачать, но не может, хотя доступ в инет у машины есть. С другой стороны без firmware wlan0 вообще бы не поднялся, однако по ifconfig waln0 выхлоп есть. Сетевой интерфейс чем-то занят. Как узнать чем?
