Коллеги, здравствуйте. Выручайте, уже 3 дня бьюсь.
Что имеем:
Сервер Dell PowerEdge T110 II с видяхой Matrox с 8МБ памяти. При установке Ubunta 14.04 Server монитор брался с рабочего компа. Сейчас к серваку подключены кабели питания и сети, т.е. "ящик" стоит голый.
Сервер должен использоваться для терминального доступа в 1С.
На данный момент уже установлено: x2go и xrdp, xfce и lxde.
В чем проблема:
Как бы я не заходил, или через x2go или через xrdp, при загрузке оболочки, я вижу только рабочий стол и то, что на нем (файлы\папки). ПКМ работает. Не грузятся панели. Если зайти через x2go в xfce, то видно, как верхняя панель пытается запуститься (моргает) и в итоге пропадает.
Так же иногда при входе выкидывает окно:
Добро пожаловать! Это первый запуск панели. И 2 кнопки "Использовать настройки по умолчанию" и "пустая панель". Если выбрать 1ое - то панель пытается запустится. Если 2ое - то просто кусок панели в пару сантиметров, которую можно свободно перемещать, без каких либо ярлыков.

1 раз только что каким то образом полностью загрузилась lxde через x2go. После отключения-подключения опять только рабочий стол.

Решил свою проблему.
Нужно или создать нового юзера и использовать его для терминального доступа или просто почистить все в своей папке ~/ (у меня там ничего нужного не было, по этому я удалил все под чистую).
При новом коннекте под своей учеткой через x2go (в моем случае), все файлы\папки в ~/ пересоздались, панель появилась и ошибки ушли.
Видимо при изначальной установке Убунты, когда я монитор подключал, чтото в конфигурационные файлы записалось и не давало нормально работать терминальной сессии.
