Проблема с загрузкой Grub

Привет!
Стояла у меня ubuntu 14.04 все нормально грузилось, без проблем... Решил вот на днях поставить в место него kubuntu, т.к. больше понравилась KDE(больше настроек).  Собственно при установке просто отварматировал раздел где находилась ubuntu, и теда же установил...
И grub перестал загружаться, выдает такое:

Получается запустить только вручную все прописав

set root=(hd0,gpt8)
linux (hd0,gpt8)/vmlinuz root=/dev/sda8
initrd (hd0,gpt8)/initrd.img
boot

Запустив ос, так ничего и не получилось сделать с grub'ом, sudo grub-install /dev/sda ; sudo update-grub ... ничего не дали.

Даже пробовал boot-repeir , находит 2 ос win и ubuntu, все правильно... но после перезагрузке все та-же история...

Помогите плиз! А то все время вручную прописывать не очень хочется...

Запустив ос, так ничего и не получилось сделать с grub'ом, sudo grub-install /dev/sda ; sudo update-grub ... ничего не дали.

Если уже запустил ОС, то делай:

sudo grub-install/dev/sda - лишнее

Или:

sudo grub-mkconfig

дело в том что я в linux очень даже новичок, так что извиняюсь за возможные глупости

вторая команда прошла, сейчас попробую перезагрузится...
А я вот думаю еще как вариант, удалить grub полностью, восстановив загрузчик win 8.1
