Не пишутся ошибки в /var/log/syslog ubuntu 12.04

Добрый день!Есть ubuntu server 12.04
Поясните ситуацию,почему не пишутся ошибки в syslog?
делал

sudo service rsyslog restartФайл появляется,но записи туда нету

ls -l /var/log/syslog

Переустановка пакета не помогла!

Убрал из /etc/default/rsyslog

И заработало,но валится в логах ошибка

Куда посмотреть?Что проверить!?
