Модем Novatel U720 разрыв подключения

Есть модем Novatel U720.
Поставил драйвера как написано в инструкции
http://www.sprint.com/business/products/phones/usbU720_allPcsPhones.html

Вместо KPPP поставил GNOME PPP

Когда соеденяюсь то связь рвется через 3-9 сек.
