Не могу настроить сеть

Пытаюсь соединить два компа в сеть но ничего не получается. На одном (А) ubuntu 9.10 на другом (В) ubuntu server 9.10.
На компе А две сетевые карты: одна (eth1) для соединения с интернетом, вторая (eth0) для соединения с компом В. На компе B тоже две сетевые.

(A):

В итоге с компа В не пингуется комп А и наоборот.
Также на компе B инет не работает, если провод от провайдера вставлять в eth1 - не находит DHCP сервер.  
PS: Замена мака нужна для провайдера

поставь ethtool
проверь параметры
sudo ethtool eth1

после пинга проверь таблицу arp
arp -an

С помощью ethtool поменял параметры на eth0 компа А и eth0 eth1 компа В. На этих трех интерфейсах одинаковые параметры:

Ничего не изменилось. По-прежнему не пингуется.

После пинга arp таблица такая:
на компе  А:      ? (192.168.1.1) в <незавершено> на eth0
                  ? (10.232.0.1) в 00:01:5c:31:4d:01 [ether] на eth1
на компе  В:      ? (192.168.1.2) <incomplette> eth0
