В фаерфоксе работают а с оперой нет.

У меня при попытке воспроизвести видео с этим плагином (application-x-vlc-plugin) фаерфокс просто закрывается с вот таким выхлопом:

У меня все нормально показывает. Потыкал на пробу: националь географик, трк Киев, тв Беларусь, тв Франсе - все идет, при чем здесь

Причем раньше все было нормально. Куда копать?

В фаерфоксе у меня там видео работает. Проблема только с оперой. И у меня не геко а мозплагин.

Да с флешем все в порядке! проблема с потоковым видео, которое транслируется vlc.

вот после вашего поста решил удостовериться, полез посмотрел ихний скрипт проверки плагина в браузере, и вуаля) он проверяет MSxml, wmplayer.ocx, и включенность ActiveX. ну установил Silverlight для Linuxа( КО подсказывает что это Moonlight), перевключил браузер и все показывать начало.

а что подробнее?
это -> http://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/Silverlight Сильверлайт. Альтернатива Adobe Flash, JavaFX и прочей шняге по запуску приложений в браузере. Производит ее Корпорация Зла. Поэтому под Linux ессно официального нету ничего. Но есть Moonlight от разработчиков Mono.

ну и собсна все.) просто привыкли все что все что играется в браузере это flash. А так его всякого много.

Про силверлайт я слышал отдаленно но впервые узнал про альтернативу ему.
