Прошу подробнее про ключ "-i gtk-info". Насколько я понял, он устанавливает на всплывающем окне значок информации. Какие еще есть ключи?

Разобрался
help по notify-send указывает параметр -i как отображение заданного значка.

Наткнулся на проблему: при запуске из консоли уведомление появляется с текстом и переводом, а вот при запуске через сочетание клавиш - в уведомлении появляется только английский текст без перевода. Никак не придумаю, в какую сторону копать в поисках фикса.

Разобрался. Дело было в настройках прокси: в терминале wget считывал их из переменной окружения, а для работы через сочетание клавиш пришлось прописать их в /etc/wgetrc.

Что-то перестал работать notify-send в скриптах после переустановки 14042 lts. Скрипт работает. Помимо уведомления в нем есть звук. И он звучит. А вот уведомление никак. Причем если я в терминале набираю notify-send "a", то все работает. Если запускаю скрипт вручную, то все работает в том числе уведомления.

Вот crontab и скрипт
