вот и удивляюсь. Я не то чтобы против, даже наоборот Просто интересно, из-за чего вдруг такое счастье?

Если это появилось недавно и я не так много пропустил, то видно, что Valve успешно работает для создания стима для гостинной.

Недавно там появился еще In-home streaming. Пока в стадии бета теста, но пользоваться уже удобно.

Установил программу под названием steam-login, которая позволяет запускать стим в режиме big picture в качестве окружения рабочего стола, что должно в теории повысить скорость работы, так как гном с юнити не запускаются вообще и не тратят ресурсы, но на практике ФПС в Доте 2 в этом режиме меньше в 2 раза и ощутимо игра тормозит. Кто-нибудь сталкивался с такой проблемой, или это нормально? Такое ощущение что драйвера на видеокарту загружаются в этом режиме свободные, а не проприетарные...

консольки там никакой нету, чтоб проверить?

В контре есть такая фигня, с вертикальной синхронизацией очень сильно запаздывает мышь почему-то, в Доте 2 такого нету. Пришел я к выводу что надо просто поменять проц на 4х ядерный, но моя материнка поддерживает только 2 модели, надо искать бу. Смена рабочего стола на XFCE не дало никакого результата, тем более мне нравится гном3, а вот пересборка ядра с указанием своего проца и еще пары опций субъективно подняла производительность раза в полтора, до уровня винды примерно, можно забить на дальнейшую возню с этим.

У знакомого была похожая фигня с играми на убунте, комп аж выключался. Оказалось кулер на процессоре 2года не чистился

Не работает starlite. Зависает в самом начале, не показывает даже меню. Но escape работает и если его нажать, то предлагает просто выйти.

Пробовал. Вначале игры видео не стоит пропускать, иначе игра просто вылетит.

Контру только так и надо, а Доте 2 это не дает такого уж ощутимого прироста ФПС (Можно прикинуть: частота обновления изображения монитора 60 кадров в секунду, если видеокарта не успевает дорисовать изображение за 1/60 секунды, то она ждет когда монитор начнет отображать следующий кадр. Таким образом если видеокарта будет стабильно успевать отрисовывать кадр хотя бы за время между 1/60 и 1/30 секунды, то фактически ФПС должен быть 30 и движения плавными, но при замесах отдельные кадры она не успевает отрисовывать за это время, так что как при синхронизации так и без нее все равно будут рывки), а вот без синхронизации появляются весьма заметные разрывы изображения, которые меня лично раздражают. )

ПС: Можно как-нибудь посмотреть насколько загружена видеокарта во время игры? Проц на 100% загружается, и поэтому я думаю что причина в нем, хотелось бы убедиться в этом промониторив еще и видеокарту.

всем привет) у меня такой вопросик, стояла у меня Windows, я вытащил с нее сохранки с игры евро трак симулятор, сейчас у меня Ubuntu 13.10, вот решил вспомнить поиграть, теперь хз куда сохранки вкинуть, может кто поможет? на 7ке они были в папке мои документы (игра купленная в стиме) за ранее спс)
