Don Esposito 08/19/2013 at 8:19 PM This is rather inelegant but I did a work-around to get this working for my rdesktop session to the company’s server (win2008). I wrote a bat script with the following command:
tzutil /s “central standard time”
(Change the timezone to whatever is appropriate for you)
I saved it to a file named tzupdate.bat and then made a shortcut to it in my startup folder so it will execute every time I log in. Works like a champ.
