Ubuntu 7.10 and Acer TM 6292

остановил иксы. В консоли выполнил sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg, получил новы xorg.conf но н прокатило, все равно перерисовка крайне медленная.
Память я пробовал и вообще не указывать и игрался со значениями 128, 256 и 358 Мб, только резльтат тот же. Могу выложить свой xorg.conf, может кто увидит в нем ошибку.

Спасибо, вечером протестирую о результатах напишу.

Камера заработала только после компиляции и установки этих драйверов

по-умолчанию теперь в настройках выбираю v4l2.

в Skype камера работает! Прочитал на англоязычных форумах, что для того чтобы заработал встроенный микрофон (работает только выход звука после установки бэкпортов) надо скомпилировать alsa 1.0.15! в ubuntu она 1.0.14.
Никто не занимался еще этим?



P.S. У меня модель 6492, но она отличается от 6292 только матрицей на 14"

Камрад, если не сложно будет, организуйте линки на информацию о том, как зарубежные господа зафиксили проблему с микрофоном

А пробовал ли кто подключать внешний монитор к Acer TM6292? У меня не получается включить режим TwinView, только "зеркало". Если у кого получалось сделать TwinView, поделитесь опытом, пожалуйста...

Не помог мне этот xorg.conf, предполагаю, что это где-то что-то криво поставилось, так что попробую этот процесс повторить.

Ставим бекпорты.

Через гномовский микшер поднять все доступные каналы на 50%, причем необходимо подключить их дополнительно через параметры (поставьте везде галочки, чтобы все опции были доступны). Я настраивал внутренний микрофон, для этого в параметрах выбираем FrontMic, запускам встроенную программу звукозапись, выбираем источник микрофон.. и начинаем тестить.... после нехитрых манипуляций добиваемся результата.

Скайп работает!!!
