Судя по выводу команды - да, драйвер - ath9k
Куда этот сервис (hostapd) пишет логи, когда он запущен автоскриптом /etc/init.d? Не могу разобраться со множественными вылетами. Каждую минуту вылеты и реконекты.

victor00000, вы тему читали вообще? У меня не adhoc, это раз, а два, ATH9K - раздаёт, а не принимает трафик.

adhoc это точка доступа и тоже hostapd

Привет всем, подскажите в чем может быть проблема с hostapd, точку видно, но при коннекте она пропадает, с ошибкой на клиенте не возможно подключиться к сети. Адаптер tp-link с чипом atheros на борту ap поддерживается (на сколько уверяет ось). Используется ubuntu server 14.04.2 LTS с последним ядром + hostapd v.1.0 + dnsmasq, настроено на бридж. eth0 + wlan0 = br0, eth1 - другая сеть (через которую я цепляюсь на ubuntu через putty), ppp0 доступ в инет
