Проблема монтирования внешнего HDD

В общем, такая ситуация.
На ноутбуке стоял внутренний хдд, но видимо при покупке обманули, т.к когда я его снял, там оказался внешний хдд, работавший как внутренний. В общем, я поменял хдд на ноуте, и оставил себе внешний хдд для пользования. Там осталась система (win7) и данные.
Первые несколько раз он работал хоть и плохо, но работал. Кое-какие данные я перенести смог. А теперь просто отказывается монтироваться.
Выдает такие вот ошибки, при попытке зайти на разделы подключенного хдд:

Не удалось получить доступ к «work»

NTFS is either inconsistent, or there is a hardware fault, or it's a
SoftRAID/FakeRAID hardware. In the first case run chkdsk /f on Windows
then reboot into Windows twice. The usage of the /f parameter is very
important! If the device is a SoftRAID/FakeRAID then first activate
it and mount a different device under the /dev/mapper/ directory, (e.g.
/dev/mapper/nvidia_eahaabcc1). Please see the 'dmraid' documentation
for more details.

The command is `mount [-t fstype] something somewhere'.

Note that one does not really mount a device, one mounts

One can change the type of mount containing the directory dir:

       mount --make-private dir

One can change the type of all the mounts in a mount subtree
containing the directory dir:
       mount --make-rshared dir
       mount --make-rslave dir
       mount --make-rprivate dir
       mount --make-runbindable dir
A device can be given by name, say /dev/hda1 or /dev/cdrom,
or by label, using  -L label  or by uuid, using  -U uuid .
Other options: [-nfFrsvw] [-o options] [-p passwdfd].

Если нет желания возиться с Windows, тогда вариант номер два: нам необходимо установить инструментарий ntfs
