перестал работать wi-fi после обновления безопасности системы

Здравствуйте!
Система ubuntu 12.04.2 с оболочкой kde
давно просила обновить безопаснось, и я разрешил. Дойдя до 85% обновление замерло. Сутки я не выключал ноут, ждал что продолжится обновление, однако нет. Пришлось выключить нажатием кнопки.
С тех пор интернет работал ещё сутки, и скончался.
вайфай и кабель не пашут.
Ноут видет все включенные роутеры, но не подключаются. При попытке настроить network connections выходит такое окно:

Пользователь решил продолжить мысль 30 Июля 2013, 09:21:12:удалил проприетарные драйверы вафли. Теперь ноут подключается к вафле, раздаваемой телефоном, но к нэтгиру не коннектится. В свою очередь телефон коннектится с нэтгиром, т.е. и роутер и телефон работают хорошо.
Пользователь решил продолжить мысль 30 Июля 2013, 16:57:49:после удаления драйвера STA вышеупомянутое окошко больше не выскакивало. Но ноутбук к роутеру не подключается. Подключается только к смартфону.
копм на винде и смартфон на андроиде с роутером работают хорошо. В чём может быть дело?
