SOS!! ssh клиент не подключается ни к чему

Всем привет столкнулся с такой проблемой:
при подключения к любому устройству по ssh c ubuntu не могу подключиться абсолютно ни к какому устройству

блокировок по IP на удаленной стороне нет. файлы hosts.allow и hosts.deny пусты.
куда рыть?  гугл не подсказывает..... предполагаю, что все началось после непредвиденного выключения электроэнергии. до этого ходил по ключу..
