При загрузке Ubuntu 15.10 появилось сообщение с ошибкой SRST failed (errno=-16)

Потом нажал несколько раз Enter и загрузка пошла далее нормально.

Кто-нибудь знает, что это за сообщение ?

Просто ранее, после сообщения "link is slow to respond" и небольшого ожидания - загрузка сама шла далее.
А в этот раз - нет.

Так понимаю, это sda5, ибо на нём корень, а на sda6 - swap.

Я б посоветовал диск поменять, -- 2867 ошибок, хоть они и неясной природы, но тем не менее может быть, дело как раз в них. Скорей всего, что-то у него с внутренней обработкой дефектов, -- у WD есть такая фича, они "уходят в себя", хотя по смарт и нет особых признаков осыпания.
