Помогите перепрошить биос

У меня HP ProBook 4340s Notebook PC. Модернизировал и поставил SSD. Все стало летать. Через некоторое время обновил биос через windows и в биосе включился некий акселиратор, отключающий HHD при падении. Теперь ubuntu грузиться достаточно долго из за

Видимо надо биос откатить.

Нашел драйвер sp57871.tgz на официальном сайте HP. HP Notebook System BIOS Update. Но не могу понять как перепрошить (((((

Разархивировал получил 3 файла. Один из них инструкция. Два других: hp-linux-bios-installer.sh 68IRR.tar.gz

Инструкция гласит:
This script requires root level permissions and
   should only be run on HP Laptops with Linux Preinstalled.

1.  Switch to super user(root) Как это сделать? sudo su?
2. Make sure the gzip(.gz) file is in the same directory with the script. Файлы находяться в разделе загрузки. Куда то надо переместить? Или через cd зайти в раздел загрузки?
3. Change the permissions on the file hp-linux-bios-installer to make it executable  Не понимаю что надо сделать ((((
   chmod +x hp-linux-bios-installer
3. Execute the installer by typing the following command:       Куда вводить команду?
   ./hp-linux-bios-installer
4. Reboot to the BIOS menu by pressing F10 at the HP Splash screen and
   check the "Update System Bios" checkbox
5. Press ESC
5. Save changes
6. Once, unit reboots, press the "Apply Update Now" button at the HP BIOS Update screen
7. Boot back into BIOS Screen and click "Restore Defaults"
8. Press ESC
9. Save changes.

В BIOS папка new в ней два файла 68IRR.BIN 68IRR.sig

такой раздел у тебя бы был если Ubuntu стояла с "коробки"

да, для систем предустановленных и даунгрейд биоса потенциально рискованно. реально девайс окирпичить. Если в биосе нельзя отключить акселерометр, то может попробовать откл. устройство при загрузке, или модуль ядра в блэклист.
