Ubuntu Gnome 15.10 не работает обновление

При попытке обновить систему через "Менеджер обновлений" он пишет что ищет пакеты и так до бесконечности. Команда sudo apt-get update тоже не проходит пишет, что соединяется и дальше также можно ждать до бесконечности. Центр приложений не позволяет поставить ни одну из программ. Пытался поменять сервер, тоже не помогает.
ТС не появлялся на Форуме более полугода по состоянию на 13/07/2019 (последняя явка: 22/02/2017). Модератором раздела принято решение закрыть тему.

Может с серверами была проблема? Если сохранить копию вашего sources.list и подставить те, что предлагает https://repogen.simplylinux.ch/?

Johnnie Walker, смените сервер обновлений на основной (ru на gb), сохраните изменения в редакторе, после чего:

sudo apt-get updateУстановить ничего не можете, т.к., для этого необходимо подключить партнёрские репозитории.
