Ошибка при загрузке информации об источниках приложений

Добрый день
я совсем новичок в Ubuntu.
стоит Ubuntu 16.04.2
хотел обновить "другое ПО" в итоге выдает ошибку при загрузке информации об источниках приложений.

У Вас установлена 16.04.2, но подключен репозиторий для старых версий Ubuntu
Удалите его

удалил их оба, ошибка осталась. плюс не ищется "выбрать лучший сервер"

Удалите его

А что ты увидел неправильного. Стоит 16.04, репозитории xenial.

Просто похоже нет подключения к интернету.

да, пишет "проверьте интернет соединение" хотя интернет работает.

Может прокси какой-нибудь используется?

ru.archive.ubuntu.com пингуется? IPV6 случаем у вас нет? Репозитории доступны по IPV6, а у наших провайдеров он постоянно отрубается?

пингуется. нахожусь за границей, как проверить включен ли ipv6? и я уже удалил те 2 репозитория... это плохо?

Ну и переключите сервер с российского на другой.
