Не подключаются PPA: "does not have a Release file"

Решил поставить себе индикаторов и использовал эту статью. Но к сожалению, при подключении новых PPA я вечно получаю ошибку. Вот как выглядит вывод команды update:

Ну так если удалять репы, то пакеты откуда ставить? Получается надо отказаться от установки продукта, раз его репозиторий не имеет какого- то Release- файла? Может есть более вегетарианское решение?

  Да
В этих репах  нет пакетов для бионик. Не сделал автор под эту версию.  Там некоторые вообще последние для raring.
Ну или попробоввать собрать из исходников.

многие проги могут работать и из прошлых релизов. Иногда, конечно, прога из другого релиза криво встает, но это скорее исключение чем правило.

Так что можно добавить репу с существующим релизом и посмотреть самому как оно будет работать. У меня по крайней мере несколько приложений ставились и работали по такой схеме. И все успешно.

ТС, как видно по состоянию на 31/01/2020 потерял интерес к созданной им теме (пометка Решено в теме отсутствует, тема оставлена не закрытой, сообщений в теме давно не было). Тема стародавняя (последнее сообщение в топике: 13/07/2018; последнее сообщение от ТС в топике: 13/07/2018). Модератором раздела принято решение закрыть тему.

Если в PPA нет пакетов для вашего релиза, то танцы с бубном не помогут. Это дело автора PPA что туда класть, а что нет. Это неофициальные репозитории.
