Ubuntu 18.04 видит 4к монитор но изображения нет

Всем привет.

Ubuntu 18.04 на ноуте Asus GL552VW-DH71 c видеокартой Nvidia Geforxe GTX 960M.

Processor: Intel® Core™ i7-6700HQ CPU @ 2.60GHz × 8
Graphics: GeForce GTX 960M/PCIe/SSE2
GNOME: 3.28.2

Подключен монитор 4к Dell S2721QS по кабелю HDMI 2.0 (шел с монитором) - другого выхода на ноуте нет.
Поставленны дравера Nvidia.

При включении ноута на монитре вижу картинку, потом картинка исчезает (когда начинают стартовать X сервер) и монитор пишет что нет сигнала.

Если сделать скриншот то на картинке видно два рабочих стола - с экрана ноута и монитора.


Подскажите куда копать ?
