Ubuntu 18.04 перестали стартовать иксы

Приветствую, подскажите плиз с такой проблемой
Под виртуальной машиной стояла Ubuntu 1804 у которой вдруг резко умерла графика.
Попытался оживить ее командами

Это не помогло

А с настройками что-нибудь делали, на реальной машине или на виртуальной? Или с видеокартой?
Там сообщение, что нет /dev/dri/card0.

Peter_I, нет ничего не делал. А как исправить?

Не могу сказать, я самостоятельно виртуальную машину никода не настраивал с нуля, пользовался уже готовой.
У меня на этой неделе тоже был случай - я думал, что ничего не делал, а некая плата перестала подключаться,
оказалось, что я всё-таки нечто сделал.
Думаю, что для начала проверить все настройки VM, связанные с видео.
В хостовй системе видеокарта нормалльно работает?

Peter_I, hyper-v не забирает же видюху с хостовой, я так думаю что было какое-то обновление ядра или сервера ксорга.
только не знаю как откатить старых ядер не осталось. Я сделал

lcdboost, а на виртуальной машине установлена именно Ubuntu 18.04, или все же очередной поинт-релиз (т.е. 18.04.2 или .3/.4/.5) ?..

Если таки поинт-релиз, то можно попробовать установить актуальное для 18.04 ядро и попробовать загрузиться с ним:

F12, установлен Пойнт релиз кажется. Попробую установить и отпишусь что получилось.
Пользователь добавил сообщение 01 Марта 2021, 12:43:41:F12, пойнт релиз 5. Ввел команду перезагрузился ничего не поменялось.
Прочел на опеннет про то как заставили работать direct rendering на слакваре и с графикой амд.
никак не могу дотуплить где взять дрова на 00:08.0 VGA compatible controller: Microsoft Corporation Hyper-V virtual VGA
вроде в винде они в виртуалке по умолчанию подхватываются
