Etherlink III 3C509TP

Я установил ubuntu server на старый комп там сетевая карточка Etherlink III 3C509TP
Она не определилась во время установки а потом ее нет в ifconfig
я думаю что нада драйвер устанавливать нагуглил ето

эфект тот же Кто с опытом подскажите как сделать например по первой сслыке написано что нада добавить 3с590 в 2 файла Чтото ето мне не внушает доверия

Надо в файл /etc/modules добавить строку 3с590
Отредактировать файл /etc/network/interfaces в соответствии со своими настройками сети
Перегрузиться или

sudo  /etc/init.d/network restart

при попытке выполнить

sudo modprobe 3с590

пишет

FATAL: Module 3c590 not found

Где взять етот модуль

Ну как ты в первом посте написал "3с590", так я и скопипастил

Чото все равно ничо не вышло ошибок теперь нет но в ifconfig карта не появилась

Please be sure that your card has the default configuration irq=10 io=0x300

Check and reset your NIC values to default and DISABLE PNP on 3com NIC using the 3Com dos/windows software, see below:

Then try to load by command line the 3c509 kernel module with the appropriate parameter
modprobe 3c509 io=0x300 irq=0x10

Then add the module name put a new row at the end of the /etc/modules file, and type:
3c509

then edit the /etc/modprobe.d/options and add
options 3c509 io=0x300 irq=0x10

then reboot your pc.
