Проверял Steam на Kubuntu 14.04 токмо на примере CS:S. Работает без каких-либо изъянов.

Да но однажды она запускалась.

 Кто знает, что еще недавно портировали, а то у меня в списке игр под Linux, их количество увеличилось на 1 шт.
А вот что именно добавилось понять не могу.

обычно то, что добавлено, но не установлено, имеет более бледный цвет.

А конфигурация компа какая, просто установил и все сразу летает или ядро пересобирал и другие методы оптимизации внедрял?

Как у вас с производительностью в TS 2 ?
Камень AMD Phenome II x6 и HD7970 , а игра жутко притормаживает... (

Как я понимаю слабое место у меня именно процессор, но если так, то получается что Ubuntu больше кушает процессора чем Вин 8, или дело в оптимизации дров на видеокарту. А может дело в 3 гноме и нужно что-то другое поставить?

Под XFCE все летает, и дрова у меня постарее будут(319)
